FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason Patriots are set to host the 2023 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship, starting this weekend (April 30) through the next Saturday (National Championship match) May 6, at EagleBank Arena.
 
It has been 33 years since Mason last hosted the NCAA Championship in the respective sport. In 1990, the Patriots hosted Long Beach State, USC, Rutgers-Newark and Ball State.
 
The opening round match features Ohio State against King University on Sunday (Apr. 30th) at 6:00 PM. On Tuesday, May 2nd, Long Beach State and Grand Canyon will compete at 5:00 PM, followed by Penn State and the opening round winner (7:30 PM).
 
The semifinals will take place on Thursday, May 4th. Top-seeded UCLA will play the winner of Tuesday's first game at 5:00 PM. No. 2-seed Hawai'i will face the winner of Tuesday's second game at 7:30 PM.
 
The championship match is set for Saturday, May 6th at 5:00 PM.
