FAIRFAX, Va. – The Patriots Men's Volleyball Team is traveling to Cambridge, Mass., to face-off against the Harvard Crimson in their last two regular season games.

Last weekend, the Patriots were defeated twice by the #3 Penn State Nittany Lions. Over the course of those games,
Omar Hoyos led the offense, with 24 kills (.228%), one set assist, an ace, one block assist and 11 digs. Defensively, freshman
Paul Wyszynski tallied 15 digs and four set assists and 48 receptions (.958%).
The Patriots are currently 4th in the conference, and will look to hold that spot with the conference tournament starting next week.
So far this season,
Omar Hoyos leads the team in kills with 276 (3.54 per set) and
Jack Bolz is second with 223 (2.79). Zahariev continues to be the team's primary setter tallying 693 set assists (8.66), although
Troy McDonald has earned time there as well (118/5.62). On the defensive side, libero
Paul Wyszynski contributes with the most digs (141/1.70) with Zahariev close behind (131/1.64).
Scouting Harvard (9-13) EIVA (2-6)
The Crimson are led by head coach Brian Baise in his 15th season. Last season, they went 12-13 and earned the #2-seed in the EIVA conference tournament. They defeated NJIT twice last weekend, both in five sets.
Zach Berty leads the team in kills with 178 (2.51). Teammate Kade McGovern follows closely with 174 kills (2.64). Harvard has one main setter, James Bardin, with 641 assists (8.11). Defensively, they are led by Logan Shepherd with 129 digs and Bardin with 105.
The Patriots lead the all-time series 17-11.
