FAIRFAX, Va. – The Patriots Men's Volleyball Team will be hosting the University of Charleston Golden Eagles for two games this weekend at the RAC.

The Patriots are coming off a dominating performance against King University, winning two of their last three games. In three sets, the Patriots tallied 12 aces, seven blocks and 36 kills. It was a great team win that featured 11 different Patriots playing.
The Patriots will look to keep their momentum going against the #14 Golden Eagles, one of only three undefeated teams remaining (13-0).
So far this season,
Jack Bolz leads the Patriots in kills with 105 (2.92 a set), with
Omar Hoyos following close behind at 98 (2.88).
Georgi Zahariev, the team's setter, has 293 set assists (8.14 per set). The Patriots primary libero, freshman
Paul Wyszynski, leads the team in digs with 64 (1.78) with Hoyos in second (50, 1.47).
Scouting the #14 University of Charleston Golden Eagles (13-0) (2-0 EIVA)
The Golden Eagles are coached by Luke Reynolds in his second season. Reynolds has led the Golden Eagles to their best start in program history (13-0), all without giving up a set.
Luuk Hoge Bavel leads the Golden Eagles in kills (97/3.23) with Garret Schnitker right behind him (96/3.00). Diego Villafane is tallying the 4th most assists per set in the country at 10.28, with a total of 329. Their libero, Curtis Raines, has posted the most digs (62/1.82), followed by Diego Villafane (47/1.47).
The Patriots are undefeated against the Golden Eagles with a record of 17-0.
