FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's volleyball team will welcome the Fordham Rams to Fairfax this weekend to wrap up the regular season and celebrate the senior class on Senior Day.
A season ago, the two programs also met in the regular season finale. Fordham downed Mason twice in the Bronx in two back-and-forth battles, 3-2 in the first match and 3-1 in the second. All-time, the Rams hold an 11-6 margin over the Patriots, including 8-2 in the last 10 matches. However, Mason is 5-3 at home and will look to continue to use that home-court advantage this weekend.
Last weekend, Mason split two matches at Duquesne, falling on Friday night 3-1, before bouncing back in Saturday with a 3-1 victory of its' own. Battling one of the top teams in the conference, Fordham fell 3-0 twice to Loyola Chicago at home in Rose Hill Gym.

- Camille Larkin continued her efficient hitting over the weekend, matching her career-high of 10 digs on Friday before besting that number with 14 on Saturday with just two errors all weekend. She currently leads the Atlantic 10 with a .387 hitting percentage
- Larkin's counterpart, freshman middle Chelsea Colter also had a career-weekend, tallying a personal best nine kills at a .389 clip. She also added eight total blocks to her team-best 83.0 block total. Colter sits at 9th in the Atlantic 10 with 0.95 blocks/set
- Offensively, Ewelina Gacek leads the Patriots with 254 kills. She has tallied 10+ digs in over half of this season's matches
- Pacing the offense is sophomore Gabriella Gelfound, who leads Mason with 449 assists on the year. She is also second with 197 kills and 197 digs and third with 73.0 blocks
- In the back row, libero Gracie Halley leads Mason with 431 digs after posting another 20+-dig performance on Saturday. She ranks sixth in the Atlantic 10 with 3.99 digs/set
SCOUTING THE RAMS
Fordham has had a solid showing in conference play this season, sitting at 7-9 and fifth in the conference standings. Notably, the Rams split their conference series with third-place VCU and fourth-place Davidson this season.
As a team, the Rams rank second in the Atlantic 10 in digs per set, averaging 16.55. In 98 sets this season, Fordham has racked up a conference-best 1,622 digs. On offense, the Rams average 12.34 kills/set (5
th, A-10) at a .198 hitting percentage (5
th, A-10).
Leading the offense are Whitley Moody (3.51) and Audrey Brown (3.32), who rank second and third in the conference in kills per set and have both eclipsed 300 kills on the season. Pacing the high-powered offense is Whitney Woodrow, who averaged 8.10 assists/set (4
th, A-10).
Defensively, Tatum Holderied averages 1.08 blocks/set (4
th, A-10) and is second on the team with 69.0 total blocks. Nailah Jenkins leads the Rams with 77.0 total blocks on the season. Mallory Lipski leads Fordham with 450 digs and is fifth in the conference with 4.59/set.
