ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The George Mason University men's basketball team (3-1) plays its second and final game in the Jacksonville Classic Monday night with a contest against South Dakota State (1-3).
Tip-off between the Patriots and Jackrabbits is set for 6 p.m. Monday's game will be broadcast on PassThaBallLive.com, featuring commentary from William Anderson. Fans can purchase a tournament pass for $25.99 and watch all games in the event. In addition, Bill Rohland will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with streaming coverage beginning at 5:45 p.m.

• The Patriots opened the event with a narrow 54-49 setback to Charlotte on Sunday. Mason held the 49ers to 37 percent shooting but could manage just a 33.3 percent effort on the offensive end of the floor.
• Sophomore
Keyshawn Hall led the Patriots with team highs in points (18) and rebounds (8). He's averaging 23.5 points and 10.0 rebounds over Mason's past two games.
• Senior
Darius Maddox added 13 points and tied his career high with three steals. He leads Mason in 3pt FG made (9) on the season.
• Graduate forward
Amari Kelly notched 11 points (4-6 FG) and grabbed six rebounds against the 49ers. He's tallied 10+ points in all four games this season and ranks 39th nationally in free throw percentage (15-16, .938).
• Hall ranks eighth nationally in defensive rebounds/game (8.8) and 30th in overall rebounding (10.0/game). He leads the Atlantic 10 in overall rebounding, defensive rebounding and double-doubles (2) and is sixth in scoring (17.0 ppg).
• Mason has now held its opponent under 40 percent shooting in three of four games this season.
• Sunday's loss marked the first time Mason was outrebounded this season (34-33). The Patriots lead the A-10 in rebounding margin (+6.5).
• Monday's matchup marks the second time in three seasons the Patriots and Jackrabbits have met in a November MTE. The teams also met in the 2022 Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls, with the Jackrabbits taking a 80-76 victory.
• South Dakota State is 1-3 to begin the season and is coming off a narrow 83-80 loss to UCF on Sunday. The Jackrabbits rank 67th nationally in offensive efficiency (1.089 points/possession) and are 288th in defensive efficiency (1.074 points/possession).
• Zeke Mayo leads SDSU with 19.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists/contest. Luke Apple adds 14.5 points/game.
