Game Recap: Women's Soccer |
Philadelphia, Pa. – The George Mason women's soccer team (1-13-0, 1-5-0 A-10) lost their rescheduled match at Saint Joseph's (3-6-5, 3-1-2 A-10) by the score of 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Sweeney Field.

HOW THEY SCORED
SAINT JOSEPH'S
7' | Mason own goal off a Saint Joseph's corner kick
89' | Natalee Vicari (2), off a corner kick

The Hawks got on the board early in the first half off a Mason own goal. In the 7th minute, a Saint Joseph's corner kick swung into the box and bounced off a Mason defender. The ball made an unlucky bounce and rolled over Mason's own goal line, giving the Hawks the 1-0 lead.

The score would remain 1-0 for the majority of the game, until the 89th minute, when sophomore forward Natalee Vicari. Off a Hawk corner kick, Vicari took the kick from the corner flag and curved the ball inside the far post, solidifying the Hawk win with a 2-0 score line.
