FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason sophomore midfielder
Nicholas Prioli scored the equalizer late in the second half in the Patriots 1-1 draw against Dayton on Saturday night at George Mason Stadium.

The Patriots are unbeaten in their last three matches (2-0-1).

Mason (3-5-3, 2-3-1 A-10) fell behind Dayton (5-6-4, 2-1-3 A-10) early in the match when Flyers sophomore forward Sidike Jabateh scored his fourth goal of the season in the 13th minute. Sophomore defender Casper Svendby picked up the lone assist on the play.

Rain began to fall at halftime and heavy rain continued throughout the second half.

In the 75th minute, Prioli found the back of the net for his second goal of the season to propel the Patriots to the result. Graduate student
Luis Maestre notched his team-leading seventh assist while senior midfielder
Henry Wachsman picked up his first assist of the season.

Maestre is tied for the most assists in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
