FAIRFAX, Va. – The men's volleyball suffered another defeat by the hands of #5 Pepperdine to keep the Patriot's from getting their first win on Saturday.
The Waves won by a score of 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-11).
Freshman
Evan Snodgrass started in the first career game for Mason and tallied one ace, one dig and two block assists.
Omar Hoyos led the team in kills with nine followed by
Jack Bolz with seven.
The Patriots battled hard in the second set, with the score tied 14-14. After that, the Waves rattled off three points eventually pushing the Patriots away by six.
In the third, the Patriots looked outmatched. The Waves had four aces and three blocks while the Patriots had none. The attacking errors were too difficult to overcome tallying six to the Waves zero.
