FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball team hosts Saint Joseph's Sunday afternoon for a nationally-televised A-10 tilt on USA Network.
Tip-off between the Patriots and Hawks inside EagleBank Arena is set for 12 p.m. Sunday's game will be broadcast nationally on USA Network, featuring commentary from Paul Burmeister and Corey Robinson. In addition, Bill Rohland will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 11:45 a.m.

• George Mason is 10-1 at home this season and 20-5 inside EagleBank Arena under head coach
Kim English. Mason's 10-0 home start was the program's best since 2010-11.
• The Patriots are coming off a 72-52 setback at VCU on Wednesday. Missing starting point guard
Ronald Polite III, the Patriots committed 19 turnovers and shot 40.8 percent for the game.
• Polite III is day-to-day with a lower leg injury. He is averaging 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in A-10 play. He's a team-best +115 when on the floor this season, more than 50 points better than any other Mason player.
• Senior
Josh Oduro led Mason with a game-high 19 points (8-11 FG). He's averaging 20.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and shooting 62.7 percent over Mason's past six games.
• Mason's 19 turnovers proved costly at VCU. The Patriots are 7-2 when committing less than 15 turnovers but just 5-7 when having 15 or more miscues.
• VCU also held a 35-24 edge on the glass, marking just the fifth time this season the Patriots have been outrebounded. Mason is 1-4 in those five contests.
• Oduro paces the A-10 and ranks 28th nationally with eight double-doubles this season. He leads the A-10 with 9.8 rebounds/contest in league play and is fifth in scoring (18.6 ppg). Oduro also leads the league in offensive boards/contest in A-10 play (3.75).
• Freshman
Justyn Fernandez has performed well since being inserted into the starting lineup on Jan. 14. He is averaging 7.3 points and 21.7 minutes over that four-game stretch.

Devin Dinkins tallied eight points in a career-best 31 minutes while starting in place of Polite on Wednesday.
• The Patriots are 10-2 in weekend games this season (Friday-Sunday) and 2-7 in games played Monday-Wednesday. Mason also is 9-3 in afternoon games and 3-6 in evening contests.
HISTORY vs. SAINT JOSEPH'S
Sunday's matchup marks the 16th all-time meeting between Mason and Saint Joseph's. Mason leads the series, 10-5, and has won 10 of the past 11 meetings. The Patriots have won the last four matchups in Fairfax. The Patriots swept last season's meetings, including a 77-71 win in Fairfax on Jan. 24 and a 75-70, overtime triumph in Philadelphia on Feb. 16. Over those two games,
Josh Oduro averaged a remarkable 32.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and shot 60 percent (24-40) from the floor.
A LOOK AT THE HAWKS (9-11, 3-5 A-10; NET #220, KenPom #198)
Saint Joseph's was picked to finish 13th in the 2022-23 A-10 preseason poll. The Hawks went 6-6 in non-conference play and are 3-5 to begin the A-10 slate. They have won three of their past four league games. The Hawks rank fourth in the A-10 in scoring offense (72.2 ppg) and lead the A-10 in both 3pt FG made/game (9.1) and attempted/game (26.6). Erik Reynolds II leads SJU and ranks fourth in the A-10 in scoring (17.8 ppg) while Cameron Brown adds 14.3 points/contest and shoots 44.6 percent from 3pt range. Lynn Greer III chips in 10.2 points/contest and ranks sixth in the A-10 with 4.4 assists/game.
