FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's basketball team will look to get back in the win column on Saturday when it travels to VCU for another Atlantic 10 match-up.

The Patriots and Rams meet for the 69th time in their storied history, dating back to the 1975 season. Both teams were members of the CAA before they joined the A-10 and have met every year at least once since 1993, except for the 2013 season. VCU holds a slight edge over Mason with a 32-36 all-time record, including the last six meetings.

The last time out, Mason fell to La Salle 69-62 in A-10 action to fall to 2-2 in conference play.

VCU began the season 3-9 in out-of-conference play. However, five of those losses were by single-digits and two were in overtime. The Patriots and Rams have two common opponents in William & Mary and ECU, teams that Mason went 2-0 against and VCU went 0-2 against. VCU picked up their first Atlantic 10 win of the season in their Richmond rivalry game against the Spiders, 54-51.
