FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's volleyball incoming student-athlete Hayden Karpinski has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Second Team.
 
The Kimberly, Wisconsin native put together a stellar high school campaign, winning the 2019 and 2021 State Championship title with the Kimberly High School Papermakers.
 
Karpinski was named a North Wisconsin High School Boys Volleyball Player of the Year finalist in 2022 after being named to the 2022 AVCA All-American Watch List prior to the start of the season.
 
In the 2021 Wisconsin State Champion season, Hayden led the team in kills (374) and service aces (44) with a 0.309 hitting percentage. The outside hitter helped the team reach a 24-12 overall record, 6-1 in the Fox Valley Association.
