FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's basketball head coach
Kim English has announced that Peter Oduro has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Patriots, beginning in 2022-23.
The 6-foot-8-inch forward hails from Gainesville, Va., and played his high school basketball at Virginia Academy.
"We are excited to add Peter to our program," English said. "Our staff got to know Peter well over the past year. He comes from a tremendous family and exudes the type of toughness and humility that we value in our student-athletes. He will be an outstanding addition to our 57th team of George Mason Basketball."
Prior to Virginia Academy, Oduro competed at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, as well as Battlefield High School in Haymarket.
He played his AAU ball for Higher Level in Northern Virginia.
Oduro is the brother of Mason rising senior forward
Josh Oduro. They will be the first brothers to compete on the same Mason team since Mark Schultz and Steve Schultz in 1977-78.
