FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason track and field program will head to the Colonial Relays this weekend, hosted by William & Mary at Zable Stadium in Williamsburg, Va.
Friday's events are slated to begin at 9 a.m. with the men's hammer throw. The event was initially scheduled for Thursday but was moved due to inclement weather. The final event of the day, the men's 10,000m, will take off at 9:30 p.m.
Action resumes on Saturday at 9 a.m. with the men's javelin. The running events are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. with the 100m hurdles, and slated to conclude at 4:10 p.m. with the 4x400 relay.

Last time out, Mason broke two school records at the Raleigh Relays (March 24-26).
Jaylen Simmons went 53.22 meters in the discus to shatter a 25-year-old record set by Perry Gaskins in 1997.
Jack Ikenberry set a new program-best time of 29:35.94 in the 10,000-meter run.
In addition, six Patriots notched new all-time marks.
Louisa Whittingham posted a PR of 35:29.64 in the 10,000m to continue to rank fifth in program history while
Jessica McRae remained in second in the hammer throw with a PR of 58.70 meters.
Sarah Francis (5000m, 8th) and
Lindsey Schmidt (High Jump, 9th) also broke into Mason's record books last weekend.
For the men,
Garsen Gross moved into third in program history in the hammer throw (56.91m), improving his previous career-best toss by nearly 10 meters.
Bobby Kestyn also cracked into Mason's top-10 in the shot put with a mark of 14.48 meters – good for ninth all-time.
Up next, Mason will host its Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 9 at George Mason Stadium.
