FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's basketball incoming student-athlete Devin Dinkins has been named to the
Washington Post All-Met First Team.
The standout Washington, D.C. guard put together an outstanding senior season at Gonzaga High School en route to First Team All-WCAC accolades.
Dinkins averaged team highs of 17.8 points and 3.4 assists per game while leading Gonzaga to a PrepHoops Top-20 DMV ranking and a 10-5 WCAC record.
Dinkins also capped his season with ACIT All-Tournament accolades after tallying a 29-point, 7-rebound, 4-assist outing vs. Mount St. Joseph.
The McDonald's All-American nominee is a consensus 3-star recruit who chose the Patriots over Virginia Tech, Georgetown and Penn State, among other programs. He's listed as the No. 53 point guard nationally and No. 3 recruit in DC by 247 Sports composite rankings.
