Box Score UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The George Mason men's volleyball team (3-4) fell in three sets (16-25, 16-25, 23-25) against No. 5 Penn State (7-3) on Saturday night inside Rec Hall.
Mason led at the beginning of all three sets but were unable to prevail as the Nittany Lions were able to string along strong offensive efforts. The Green & Gold put up a hard offensive battle, but it was not enough to take the set.
"Although we lost to a very good Penn State team, I was happier with our performance tonight," said Head Coach
Jay Hosack. "We still made some mistakes at critical times in each game, but our team made a conscious effort to clean up some stuff from last night."
