FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's basketball team hosts VCU on Saturday for Senior Day. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. inside EagleBank Arena.

Amaya Scott with a pregame ceremony.
Saturday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+ with commentary by Bill Rohland and
Steve Kolbe. In addition, Brian McSweeney will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 2:50 p.m.
PATRIOT POINTS
* Mason suffered its fourth straight loss on Wednesday night, falling to crosstown rival George Washington, 65-57, in Washington, D.C.
* Rebounding proved to be the difference in Wednesday night's contest. GW held a +19 advantage on the glass (43-24), and pulled down 21 offensive boards which resulted in 18 points for the Colonials.

Taylor Jameson scored a career-high 20 points (6-11 FG) and made a career-high five three-pointers (5-11 3FG). She erupted for 12 points in the third quarter alone to propel Mason's comeback effort. It marked the first 20-spot of her career.
* Jameson has come alive for the Patriots in conference play, posting nine double-digit scoring performances. In league action, she's averaging 11.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 35.4 percent from deep with 23 three-pointers.
* Mason is 8-2 when leading at the half, and 5-1 when leading with five minutes to go. Conversely, the Patriots are 0-13 when trailing at the half.
* Scott ranks 109th nationally in points per game (16.1) – good for fifth in the Atlantic 10. She also ranks 69th nationally in field goals made (150) and 83rd in free throws made (85). She sits ninth in the A-10 in rebounding (6.6) and 15th in field goal percentage (.460).
* Mason ranks 80th in the nation in free throws made, sinking 308 this season (.681). The Patriots have shot 70.0 percent or better from the line in 13 games but have shot under that mark in their last six contests, averaging a free throw percentage of .524 (54-103 FT).

Tamia Lawhorne ranks 13th in the A-10 in three-point field goal percentage (.355) and 12th in three-pointers per game (1.7).

Jayla Adams is currently averaging 3.8 assists per game – good for seventh in the A-10. She's led the team in assists 17 times this season and has dished out five-plus assists in nine games.
* In league action only, Jameson sits ninth in three-pointers made per game (1.9) and 15th in three-point field goal percentage (.354). She has made 2-or-more three-pointers in seven A-10 games, nine overall.

* Scott, a transfer from Bethune-Cookman, made an immediate impact in just one season with the Green & Gold. She has posted 13 career double-doubles and 60 double-digit scoring performances. She scored her 1,000th-career point against Fordham earlier this season.
* Manojlovic, a transfer from Furman, appeared in 64 career games, making 58 starts, before her playing career was cut short due to injury. She has tallied 372 points, 244 assists and 201 rebounds in her career.
* Kaktaite, a four-year player for the Green & Gold, has appeared in 86 games, making 14 starts. She was accepted into the 2022 WBCA 'So You Want To Be A Coach' program, and is a two-time Provost Scholar Athlete.
SERIES HISTORY
One of Mason's most frequent opponents, the teams have met 67 times, with VCU leading the series 35-32. The Rams have won five straight in the series.
Mason will look for its first win over VCU since Feb. 15, 2018 when the Patriots earned a 65-42 road win in Richmond.
SCOUTING THE RAMS (13-8, 8-3 A-10; NET 94)
VCU enters Saturday's contest on a five-game winning streak. The Rams handed A-10 preseason favorite Dayton its first conference loss of the season on Feb. 13 in Ohio, 60-58.
The Rams take care of the basketball, ranking first in the conference and 16th nationally in turnovers per game (12.6). They also rank 64th nationally in scoring defense, holding opponents to 58.3 points per game. The Rams have two players averaging double figures in Taya Robinson (15.1) and Sarah Te-Biasu (12.9).
