FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's basketball team hosts Saint Joseph's on Sunday for Homecoming and Alumni Day. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. inside EagleBank Arena.
 
Sunday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+. In addition, Brian McSweeney will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 2:50 p.m.
 
PATRIOT POINTS
* Sunday's game will serve as Mason's #Play4Kay Pink Game, presented by Sentara.
 
* Mason finished up its three-game road trip Friday against UMass, falling 87-58 to the Minutewomen. The Patriots are looking to snap a two-game losing skid on Sunday vs. SJU.
 
* The Minutewomen shot 48.5 percent from the floor (33-68) and made nine three-pointers (.450). Mason dropped to 1-10 when its opponent makes seven-or-more three-pointers.
 
* After going without a three-point field goal in the first half (0-6), Mason made eight three-pointers in the final 20 minutes (.471). The Patriots finished 44.9 percent from the field but took 19 fewer shots than the Minutewomen.
 
* Junior Tamia Lawhorne tied her season-best 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting (.583). She made a career-high five three-pointers on seven attempts (.714) to go along with four rebounds and two assists. All 19 of her points came in the second half.
 
* Lawhorne has scored in double figures in three straight games for the Patriots, and led them in scoring in back-to-back contests.

* Senior Amaya Scott (15) and sophomore Taylor Jameson (10) also finished in double figures. Scott went 6-of-12 from the field while Jameson was 4-of-6 with two three-pointers.
 
* Jameson has posted seven double-digit scoring performances in Atlantic 10 play. In league action, she's averaging 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
 
* Mason is 8-2 when leading at the half, and 5-1 when leading with five minutes to go. Conversely, the Patriots are 0-11 when trailing at the half.
 
* Redshirt sophomore Jayla Adams is currently averaging 3.8 assists per game – good for seventh in the A-10. She's led the team in assists 16 times this season and has dished out five-plus assists in nine games.

* Scott ranks 85th nationally in points per game (16.5) – good for fourth in the Atlantic 10. She also ranks 69th nationally in field goals made (140) and 65th in free throws made (83). She sits ninth in the A-10 in rebounding (6.9) and 13th in field goal percentage (.453). 

* Mason ranks 83rd in the nation in free throws made, sinking 289 this season (.688). The Patriots have shot 70.0 percent or better from the line in 13 games but have shot under that mark in their last four contests.  
 
* Junior Jordan Wakefield has scored in double figures in 14 games this season but just four of them have come in Atlantic 10 play. She ranks seventh in the A-10 in free throw percentage (.781).
 
* Lawhorne ranks 13th in the A-10 in three-point field goal percentage (.360) and 11th in the three-pointers per game (1.7). She has made at least one three-pointer in her last five appearances.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Saint Joseph's owns a 9-5 advantage in the all-time series. The Patriots have won three straight and four of the last five after the Hawks had won the previous five meetings.
 
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (8-14, 4-6 A-10; NET 178)
Saint Joseph's has won two of its last three contests to sit at 4-6 in the Atlantic 10. The Hawks rank 69th nationally in three-point field goal percentage (.334). MacKenzie Smith leads the team in the category, shooting 41.7 percent from deep (25-60).
 
Freshman Talya Brugler has won four Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors this season. She averages 10.1 points and a team-best 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 51.8 percent from the floor.
