FAIRFAX, Va. — The George Mason women's basketball team travels to Davidson on Wednesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Belk Arena. 
 
Wednesday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+. In addition, Brian McSweeney will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 6:50 p.m.
 
PATRIOT POINTS
* Mason (7-12, 1-6 A-10) begins a three-game road stretch Wednesday at Davidson. The Patriots are 4-5 on the road this season.
 
* The Patriots earned their first conference win of the season on Saturday vs. rival George Washington, 52-46. It also marked the first A-10 win of the Coach Blair-Lewis era. 
 
* Mason gave up a season-low 46 points to GW. The Patriots held GW to just 30.5 percent from the field and 16.7 percent from three-point range. It marked the first time the Patriots held an opponent to 50 points or less since Dec. 21, 2020 when Mason defeated Delaware State, 69-46.
 
* With Saturday's victory, Mason improved to 7-2 when leading at the half, and 4-1 when leading with five minutes to go. 
 
* Junior Jazmyn Doster posted her sixth career double-double against the Colonials. She recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds, going 5-of-9 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe. Mason is 3-1 when Doster registers a double-double. 
 
* Sophomore Taylor Jameson has posted five double-digit performances in the last six games. She's averaging 12.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists over that stretch. 
 
* Mason's point guard duo of Jameson and Jayla Adams has stepped up over the last four games. Jameson is averaging 12.0 points and 3.8 assists while Adams is averaging 8.3 points and 3.8 assists.
 
* Senior Amaya Scott scored a career-high 35 points against St. Bonaventure (Jan. 23) to go along with a career-high 13 rebounds for her 13th career double-double. Her 35 points are the second-most points scored in the Atlantic 10 and tied for the 30th-most points scored in the country this season. 
 
* Scott went 15-of-20 from the free throw line vs. the Bonnies. It marked the most free throws made in the A-10 in a game and are tied for the sixth-most made in the nation. 
 
* Adams has led the team in assists in 13 games this season. She is currently averaging 3.6 assists per game – good for eighth in the A-10. She has dished out six-plus assists in five games this season. 
 
* Mason ranks 50th in the nation in free throws made, going 263-of-368 from the line this season (.715). The Patriots have shot 70.0 percent or better from the line in 13 games. 
 
* Scott ranks 67th nationally in points per game (17.7) – good for third in the Atlantic 10. She also ranks 43rd nationally in field goals made (129) and 39th in free throws made (78). She sits eighth in the A-10 in rebounding (7.1) and 11th in field goal percentage (.467). 
 
* Junior Jordan Wakefield ranks 23rd in the A-10 in both scoring (11.5) and rebounding (5.5). 
 
* Jameson sits fifth in the A-10 in free throw percentage (.848), going 39-of-46 from the charity stripe. In A-10 play, she ranks seventh in three-pointers made per game (1.9) and eighth in three-pointers made (13). 
 
* Scott has scored in double figures in all but one game this season. She's led the team in scoring 12 times and in rebounding eight times.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Davidson has won the last four meetings to lead the all-time series, 6-3. The home team has claimed the victory in all but two meetings in the all-time series.
 
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS (12-7, 3-4 A-10; NET 117)
Davidson has lost four of its last five games to sit at 3-4 in the conference. The Wildcats most recently fell to A-10 preseason favorite Dayton, 70-60, on Sunday. 
 
Redshirt sophomore Elle Sutphin ranks 37th nationally in field goal percentage (.534) – good for second in the conference. She sits 17th in the A-10 in scoring (12.4) and 11th in blocked shots (0.8). As a team, the Wildcats rank 65th nationally in free throw percentage (.744).
