Set four was relatively even, with both teams trading kills and blocks throughout. The Patriots found themselves in a bit of a hole, trailing 16-9 and called a timeout. They would then score 11 of the next 16 points to pull within one at 21-20 behind four kills and six Fordham errors. However, good defense by the Rams forced four Mason errors at the end of the set as Fordham took the match, 3-1.
