FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against La Salle in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup on Wednesday night at George Mason Stadium.
 
Mason (2-7-1, 1-2-1 A-10) recorded its first draw of the season, while La Salle (3-5-3, 2-1-1 A-10) played its third draw of the season and second on the road.
 
Mason senior goalkeeper Jake Langley (2-7-1, 1-2-1 A-10) made four saves to post his first shutout with the Patriots.  La Salle freshman goalkeeper Filip Sabatti made three saves for his first collegiate shutout.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

The Explorers outshot the Patriots, 9-8, while the Patriots had the edge in shots on goal, 4-3.  La Salle finished with four corner kicks and Mason had three corner kicks in the match.
 
Mason freshman midfielder Nicholas Prioli led the Patriots with two shots on goal.  Sophomore defender Ahmed Mohamed notched one shot on goal in the match.
 
Senior defender Jonathan Fawole, junior midfielders Louis Lehr and Henry Wachsman, sophomore defender Joshua Morrobel, freshman defender Will Carson and Mohamed each played 90 minutes for the Patriots.

The Patriots conclude their two-match homestand when they face Duquesne on Saturday, Oct. 8, with the opening kick scheduled for 1 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
