ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The George Mason University women's soccer team lost to #11 Saint Louis in Sunday afternoon's game. The Billikens remain undefeated in A-10 conference play and have extended their current win streak to 10 games.

Mason was busy at goal this afternoon, recording a total of 16 saves on the afternoon. Freshman goalkeeper
Selamawit Caldart recorded a career-high 14 saves, while
Victoria Coninck contributed for two saves in the second half.
The Billikens scored early with a cross that junior forward Caroline Kelly connected at the left side of the goal. Their second goal came in the 33
rd minute of the half, when sophomore forward Hannah Sawyer collected the rebound from a shot that was blocked by Patriot defender
Kolbrun Eyjolfsdottir and put it in the net from seven yards out. Junior midfielder Jess Preusser would add a third goal late in the second half.

The Patriots return home to play the University of Richmond next Sunday, October 9, at George Mason Stadium. The home game will also feature "Pups on the Pitch." Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
