LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots' hard-fought effort on defense was not enough in the loss to the Virginia Cavaliers on Thursday (2-0).

Virginia controlled possession for the majority of the match, as the Virginia attack strained the Patriot defense throughout the contest. Delaware held the Patriots to only five shots in the match.

Senior goalkeeper Louisa Moser faced a total of 18 shots (eight on goal) and recorded five saves in fulltime. Seniors Sophie Karas and Shannon Lee, and freshman Halla Svansdóttir each recorded a shot for the Patriots. Seniors Sara ChontoshKolbrún EyjólfsdóttirShannon LeeLouisa Moser, and Keri Yoon, and junior Grace Hotaling each played 90 minutes for the Green & Gold on Thursday night.

HISTORY vs. THE QUAKERS
In the last 10 contests between the two programs, Mason has a 6-4 edge against the Quakers.

The last time Mason met Pennsylvania was in 2017, where the Patriots topped the Quakers 2-0. The Patriots have played the Quakers one other time since 2011, a game that also resulted in a win for Mason.

SCOUTING PENNSYLVANIA
Due to COVID-19 protocols within the Ivy League, Pennsylvania has not played a match since November 9, 2019. Their season started on Friday night as they tied Temple 1-1 in overtime.
In 2019, Sizzy Lawton scored three goals for the Quakers and is one of three players on the Pennsylvania roster who scored a goal that season. The other goal scorers are seniors Mia Shenk and Jackie Bruder. None of the goalkeepers for Pennsylvania have played a minute for the Quakers as they head into the 2021 season.
