Jacquee Clabeaux has been selected to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Swimming and Diving Team, the conference announced.

Clabeaux, a native of Fairfax, Va., won two medals at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio April 14-17.Â

Clabeaux claimed the silver medal in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.37) and won the bronze medal in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.43). She also placed sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (23.52).

A biology major, Clabeaux was named Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Second Team in the breaststroke for the second straight year. She was also selected to the VaSID 2021 Academic All-State Team.

Cleabeaux took the top spot on the podium in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.41) against Delaware, George Washington and William & Mary at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va. on Feb. 20.

The 2021 Atlantic 10 Conference Men's and Women's Academic All-Conference teams are selected based on performance in the pool, as well as the classroom.

To be nominated, swimmers and divers must have a GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.
