FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason sophomore forward
Kent Harrison was named Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Second Team, the organization announced on Thursday.
Harrison, a native of Newcastle, Australia, played and started eight games, logging 708 minutes during the season. He led the club in goals (2) and points (4), and ranked second in shots (14) and shots on goal (7).
Harrison, who was sixth among field players in minutes played (708), made his Patriots debut against James Madison on Feb. 27 at George Mason Stadium. He netted his first two NCAA goals (47th and 48th minute) on a season-high three shots on frame, in a 2-2 double-overtime draw at Davidson on March 14.
VaSID names 44 all-state teams in 23 sports each year, as well as an Academic All-State squad and an all-sports champion in both the University and College Divisions.
