FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team plays its final series of the season, hosting Richmond for four games beginning on Thursday, with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. at Spuhler Field.
The Patriots and Spiders will play a doubleheader on Friday, with the first pitch for game one scheduled for 1 p.m. Both games will be seven innings. The Patriots will recognize
Bill Brown's 40th year as head coach between the games.
The two teams will conclude the season on Saturday, with the first pitch slated for 2 p.m.

Mason has an all-time record of 38-61-1 against Richmond. The two teams have played twice this season. Mason defeated Richmond, 10-7, on March 5 at Spuhler Field in Fairfax, while the Spiders downed the Patriots, 12-5, on March 21 at Pitt Field in Richmond.

Richmond had its first two Atlantic 10 series of the season cancelled due to Covid-19 protocols. The Spiders were scheduled to play at Saint Louis April 16-18 and host VCU April 23-25.
In their first A-10 series of the season, the Spiders split four games against Davidson at Pitt Field, April 30-May 2, in Richmond, Va. The Spiders were swept at home in a four-game series by Dayton, May 7-9.
