Mason Fends off Richmond on Thursday Afternoon

Box Score RICHMOND, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team (3-6-1, 3-3-1 A10) defeated A-10 foe Richmond by a score of 2-1 on Thursday afternoon.

The victory is the Patriots' third in conference play this season, improving their record to 3-3-1. The Patriots' two goals in the first half is the most goals Mason has scored in a half this season.

There is now a three-way tie between senior Kayla Hamric (2) and juniors Dacheka Kolcum (2) and Sara Chontosh (2) for the team lead in goals scored.
