FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's volleyball team will travel to La Salle on Friday (4:30 p.m.) before returning home to host Fordham on Sunday (1 p.m.).

Both matches will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+.

LAST TIME OUT
Mason split a pair of road matches with Rhode Island to move to 3-1 in Atlantic 10 play.

In the first match between the two teams, Mason secured a thrilling, five-set victory over the Rams on Feb. 13. Mason was led by junior duo Peyton Ehmke and Katie Parmalee who combined for 28 kills and eight blocks. Ehmke finished with 15 kills and four blocks while Parmalee notched a career-high 13 kills and four stuffs.

Mason fell in straight sets to Rhode Island the following day. Sophomore Yanira Lopez-Barahona led the Patriot offense with a career-high 21 kills at a .277 clip. She added three digs, a service ace and block in the loss. It marked the fourth-most kills by an Atlantic 10 player this season, and tied the most kills in a three-set game in the A-10.

CAREER MILESTONES
Junior setter Erin Derick posted a combined 50 assists vs. Rhode Island. She now has 962 career assists; 38 shy from 1,000 assists. She'll look to become just the 12th Patriot in program history to achieve this feat.

The Wilmington, Del., native ranks sixth in the conference with 8.46 assists per set.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
The Patriots hold a 7-5 lead in the all-time series vs. the Explorers. Mason looks to snap a four-match losing streak to La Salle for its first victory over the Explorers since 2017. The Explorers are 2-0 on the young season after earning a pair of victories over George Washington. Elizabeth Osborn leads the team with 5.25 kills per set while Isa Lopez averages 6.50 digs per set on defense.

Fordham leads the all-time series 6-5 and is on a two-match winning streak against the Patriots. The Rams (0-1) have played one match so far, falling in four sets to St. John's.

Mason's match against Fordham, originally scheduled for Feb. 28, has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 7 at 1 p.m. inside the RAC.

The Patriots' home match against Villanova, scheduled for Sunday, March 14, has been canceled.
