Mason Cannot Prevail in Tight Match with Delaware

FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team (0-3) could not pull through in a tightly contested match against Delaware (1-0) on Thursday night.
 
The defeat marks Mason's third loss by a score of 2-0 in 2021.
 
On a cold, windy night in George Mason Stadium, the Patriot offense tallied a season-high 10 shots (five on goal) but could not find the back of the net. Sophomore Grace Hotaling led the Green & Gold's attack with four shots (two on goal).
 
Senior keeper Louisa Moser faced a total of 10 Delaware shots (four on goal), recording two saves on the night. Moser now has 13 saves on the season.
