FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team (2-4-1, 2-1-1) continues their four-game homestand against Davidson on Sunday.
 
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. inside George Mason Stadium. Fans can the follow via live stats.
 
Mason is currently 2-1-1 in Atlantic 10 play, sitting at fourth in the A-10 South pod.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots will be looking for a consecutive victory on Sunday after beating VCU by a score of 2-1 on March 21.
 
Junior Naja Ashman recorded her first collegiate goal, scoring off of a free kick opportunity in front of the net.
 
Kayla Hamric earned her second goal on the season on a long-arching shot into the top right corner of the net.  Freshman Katie Saunders earned her second assist in as many games for Mason.
 
A LOOK AT DAVIDSON (4-3-1, 2-2 A-10)
The Wildcats sit at second in the A-10 South pod with a 2-2 conference record. Davidson was in first in the pod until a two-game losing skid knocked them out of the top spot.
 
The Wildcats recently fell to both George Washington and VCU, both teams the Patriots beat earlier in the season.
 
Kendall Bushick currently leads Davidson with three goals in just six shots on the season (0.500 SH%). Hailey Braemer paces the Wildcats in points (8), shots (12) and shots on goal (7).
 
As a team, the Wildcats are fourth in the conference in goals (14) and assists (10). Davidson has also allowed the fourth fewest goals to opposing teams this season (6).
 
THE MASON ATHLETICS PRIDE GAME
The match on Sunday will be the Mason Athletics Pride Game! The game will center on diversity and inclusion in college sports. The contest will also include a Mason Pride shirt giveaway and in-game elements which honor diversity & inclusion.
 
TICKET AVAILABILITY/SAFETY PROTOCOLS
The capacity at George Mason Stadium will be a maximum of 250 spectators. The Field House will be closed during all games, a restroom trailer will be provided outside the stadium. All fans should use the side entrance of George Mason Stadium located behind the scoreboard. Face coverings must be worn at all times and social distance seating will be enforced.
 
A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on online or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 703-993-3270. Visiting teams may contact the Athletic Ticket Office about ticket availability as they will not have access to complementary tickets. All tickets are priced at $8 each. Students will be able to request a ticket online.
