Patriots and Colonials Play to Draw

FAIRFAX, Va. –
The George Mason men's soccer team played its first Atlantic 10 home game of the season, a 0-0 double-overtime draw against George Washington on Wednesday night at George Mason Stadium.
 
Mason (0-3-2, 0-0-2 A-10) and George Washington (1-1-1, 0-0-1 A-10) played a defensive first half, with the Patriots recording the only shot on goal.
 
Freshman midfielder Ishmail Kamara, sophomore forward Kent Harrison and freshman midfielder Christopher Schray each registered a shot on goal in the match.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Jackson Lee made three saves for the clean sheet to post his first collegiate shutout.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
 
The Patriots and Colonials both finished with six shots and three shots on goal in the match.  In overtime, each club posted one shot on goal.  George Washington had eight corner kicks, while George Mason had five in the game.
 
UP NEXT
 
The Patriots are back in action against VCU on Saturday, March 20 with the opening kick scheduled for 2 p.m. in Richmond, Va.
