DAVIDSON, N.C. – The George Mason men's soccer team built an early two-goal lead in the second-half over Davidson, but settled for a 2-2 draw in the Atlantic 10 opener on Sunday at Alumni Stadium in Davidson, N.C.

Mason (1-3-0, 1-0-0 A-10) and Davidson (1-3-0, 0-1-0 A-10) were scoreless after the first 45 minutes of play. Freshman goalkeeper
Jackson Lee made three saves in the first half for the Patriots.
The Patriots took control of the match early in the second half when Harrison scored two goals in a span of 1:21.
In the 47th minute, sophomore midfielder
Léon Reilhac sent a long cross into the box, where Harrison scored his first goal as a Patriot with a header to make it a 1-0 game. Reilhac picked up his second assist of the season on the play.
Just over a minute later, Harrison tallied his second goal to extend the advantage to 2-0. Schray picked up his first career assist when he created a turnover and played the ball through to Harrison.
Davidson got on the board in the 75th minute when freshman Adam Luckhurst took a cross from classmate Connor Smith and scored his first collegiate goal to cut the Patriots lead to 2-1.
The Wildcats scored the equalizer seven minutes later on a set piece.
In the 82nd minute, Davidson senior midfielder Hugh Chatham played the corner kick to Luckhurst, who scored his second goal of the match to even the score, 2-2.

Ishmail Kamara recorded the only other shot on goal for the Patriots.
Lee made a season-high six saves, including three in the first half and one in overtime. Wildcats sophomore goalkeeper Giacomo Piccardo made two stops in the match.

The Wildcats outshot the Patriots 20-8, including a 9-4 edge in shots on goal. Davidson had the only three shots in overtime. The Wildcats finished with 11 corner kicks, while the Patriots had seven in the match.
