No. 15 Patriots Dominate on Saturday Night

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – No. 15 George Mason men's volleyball team (9-5, 6-4) defeated Charleston (W.Va.) in straight-sets on Saturday night.

The victory gives the Patriots a weekend sweep of the Golden Eagles and a season sweep, as Mason has now won all four contests against Charleston.

"I thought our response tonight was reminiscent of how we started the season," head coach Jay Hosack said. "I also like how well we are serving right now. Now, we start to prepare for next weekend against Sacred Heart."

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

Senior Hayden Wagner led the Patriots with 12 kills, three digs and a service ace.
Freshman Sam Peters recorded a season-high four kills and tied a season-high in aces (2).
Senior Sam Greenslade did a little bit of everything on Saturday night, earning five kills, a team-high 10 digs and an assist.
Senior Luis Velez notched 31 assists in the victory.
Freshman Omar Hoyos hit 8-2-14 (.429) on the night, with four digs and an assist.
The Patriot defense forced the Golden Eagles to hit just 33-20-89 (.146).
