Patriots Announce 2021 Baseball Schedule

2021 George Mason Baseball Schedule
 
FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team has released its 2021 schedule, a 46-game slate that includes 24 contests against Atlantic 10 Conference opponents.
 
George Mason begins the new campaign with a three-game series against Navy.  The Patriots and Midshipmen will play a doubleheader Feb. 27 in Annapolis, Md. and wrap up the weekend with a single game at Spuhler Field on Feb. 28.
 
Mason will then play three of its next four games at home, hosting VMI (March 5), facing William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. (March 6) and returning back to Fairfax to face St. John's (March 7) and UMBC (March 12) at Spuhler Field. 
 
The Patriots are back on the road for two games at La Salle (March 13) in Philadelphia, Pa.  Mason will then play single games at UMBC (March 14) in Baltimore, Md. and at Old Dominion (March 19) in Norfolk, Va.
 
The Patriots are scheduled to play 13-of-15 games at home from March 20 through April 11.
 
La Salle visits George Mason for a doubleheader (March 20) and the Patriots host Richmond (March 21) when the Spiders visit Spuhler Field.
 
Mason and Towson are scheduled to play a four-game series (March 26-28), with game one and game four in Towson, Md. and the middle games as part of a doubleheader on March 27 in Fairfax.
 
The Patriots return to Fairfax for an eight-game homestand, the longest of the season, hosting St. Bonaventure for four games (April 2-4) and Saint Louis for four games (April 9-11).
 
The next eight games on the schedule for the Patriots are on the road, with four-game sets at Dayton (April 16-18) and VCU (April 30-May 2).
 
Mason welcomes George Washington (May 7-9) for four games at Spuhler Field, then the Patriots play four games on the road at Davidson (May 13-15) before closing out the regular season with four games at home against Richmond (May 20-22).
 
Mason plays six league series, three at home and three on the road.  The Patriots are scheduled to play 11 doubleheaders during the season.
 
Home series against A-10 foes include four-game weekend sets against Saint Louis (April 9-11), George Washington (May 7-9) and Richmond (May 20-22).
 
The Patriots will visit Dayton (April 16-18), VCU (April 30-May 2) and Davidson (May 13-15).
 
The Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship is scheduled to be held May 27-29 with the site to be determined.
