The Patriots will host Charleston (W.Va.) again on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. inside the RAC.

Mason comes into conference play winning three of their first four of the season, going on a two-game winning streak after defeating both Southern Virginia (25-17, 30-28, 25-19) and Barton (25-13,25-13, 25-22) in straight-sets last weekend.

The Green & Gold welcomed back senior Hayden Wagner to the court last weekend after the opposite missed the majority of the 2020 season due to injury.

Wagner recorded 21 kills and eight service aces in six sets played over the weekend. The York, Pa. native recorded a career best six service aces in the victory over Barton (Jan. 30), including eight kills and five digs.

Entering conference play, Mason is tied with No. 11 Penn State atop the EIVA standings as both programs went 3-1 in non-conference play.

The Golden Eagles finished the short 2020 season with an overall record of 4-13 with a 2-6 record in conference play. The team has yet to play in 2021 and will open their season in Fairfax.

Charleston (W.Va.) is led by junior Lachlan Bray who led the Golden Eagles in kills (166), kills per set (3.32) and service aces (22) in 2020.
