CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team (0-1) travels to face No. 10 Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 28.
 
Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. inside Klöckner Stadium. The contests will be streamed on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), via the ESPN app. Fans can also match via live stats.
 
LAST TIME OUT
It is a quick turnaround for the Patriot who hosted Georgetown on Thursday night, a game in which Mason fell to the Hoyas by a score of 2-0 inside George Mason Stadium.

SCOUTING No. 10 VIRGINIA (8-3-1; Fall 2020 record)
The Cavaliers have yet to play a game this spring season. Virginia was however able to compete in conference during the fall.
 
In their fall season, the Cavaliers earned an overall record of 8-3-1, including a postseason appearance in the ACC semifinals. Virginia advanced to the semifinals for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons.
 
Junior forward Alexa Spaanstra has been named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch list for the spring, announced by the United Soccer Coaches. The award recognizes the national player of the year.
 
Sophomore Diana Ordonez finished the fall season with a team-high in goals (7) and points (18), including a game-winning goal. ACC Freshman of the Year Lia Godfrey led the attack for the Cavaliers with a team-high in shots (42) and shots on goal (22) in the fall of 2020.
 
Senior keeper Laurel Ivory made eight starts in net for the Cavaliers, a team-best. Ivory tallied an overall record of 4-3-1 in the fall.

HISTORY WITH THE CAVALIERS
Virginia leads the all-time series with the Patriots 12-8-3. The Patriots will look to snap a seven-game losing skid to the Cavliers. The last time these two programs met, Virginia defeated the Patriots by a score of 2-0 on August 21, 2016 inside Klöckner Stadium.
