PATRIOT POINTS
* The Patriots are coming off a 79-76 overtime victory at then-first place VCU on Saturday. The Patriots trailed by 13 (39-26) early in the second half and by seven (59-52) with 7:49 to play, but mounted a furious late comeback and held a +3 (12-3) scoring edge in the overtime session.

* The Patriots' three wins at VCU since 2017-18 are tied with URI for the most in the A-10. VCU has posted a 50-16 combined mark (.758) in the Siegel Center over those four seasons.

* Mason is now 3-0 in overtime games this season. It's the most OT wins for the Patriots' since the team's cardiac campaign in 2017-18.

* The Patriots were +16 (42-26) on the glass against a good rebounding VCU team. Mason turned a 15-3 edge in offensive rebounds into a +11 (13-2) advantage in second chance points. The Patriots are a combined +24 on the glass over the past two games.
Mason is 8-2 when winning the rebounding battle this season.

* Sophomore Josh Oduro led Mason with a monstrous effort at VCU, totaling a career-best 27 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He made 11-of-14 free throw attempts and grabbed six rebounds in 29 minutes. He was named the A-10 Player of the Week for his efforts.

* Junior Jordan Miller added 16 points against the Rams and has now reached double figures in eight-straight games. Miller is ninth in the A-10 in scoring in league games (15.7 ppg) this season.

* Senior Javon Greene notched 14 points and a game-high four assists in Saturday's win. He's averaging 14.3 points and shooting an impressive 54.8 percent (17-31) from deep over the past six games. In league play, Greene ranks third in the A-10 in 3pt FG percentage (.446).

* Freshman Otis Frazier III provided a huge spark at VCU while notching career bests in points (10, 5-8 FG), rebounds (6) and minutes (30). He earned A-10 Rookie Honor Roll accolades for his efforts and is averaging 9.5 points and shooting 66.7 percent (8-12) over the past two games.

* VCU entered Saturday's game ranked No. 39 nationally in the KenPom index. The victory marked Mason's highest-rated KenPom road win since last year's victory at the then 39th-ranked Rams.

* The Patriots are holding their opponents to 25 percent (9-36) from beyond the arc over the past two games. Mason is 7-0 when limiting its opponent to 33 percent or less from 3-point range this season.

* The Patriots are 8-0 when scoring 70+ points this season but just 2-8 when failing to hit the 70-point plateau.

* Mason has won four of its past six games, including three-straight victories inside EagleBank Arena.
