FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's basketball sophomore
Josh Oduro has been named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
It marks the first time in his career Oduro has earned the A-10's weekly honor.
The Gainesville, Va., product put forth a monstrous career effort to lead Mason to a 79-76 overtime win at first-place VCU on Saturday. Then in the extra session, he scored five of Mason's 12 points, including two clutch free throws late to make it a two-possession game. In all, 20 of Oduro's 27 points came in the second half and overtime periods.
