FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's basketball team will host St. Bonaventure Friday inside EagleBank Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
 
Friday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+, with commentary by Steve Kolbe. In addition, Brian McSweeney will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 5:50 p.m.
 
PATRIOT POINTS
* Mason moved to 0-10 in Atlantic 10 play after a 63-27 loss to Rhode Island on Friday (Feb. 5) in the Ryan Center. Sunday's game against UMass was postponed due to the continuing surge in COVID-19 cases at UMass Amherst.
 
* Rhode Island made 10 three-pointers in the first half (.455) and finished with a season-high 12 three-point field goals. Mason dropped to 1-9 when its opponent makes 7-or-more three-pointers.
 
* Mason tied its season-low in field goals made (11) and three-point field goals made (1) and also recorded a season-low three assists in the contest.
 
* Sophomore Vita Stam had a breakout performance for the Green & Gold, scoring a career-high 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting. It marked the eighth different Patriot to lead the team in scoring and the 10th Patriot to register a double-digit scoring performance this season.
 
* Freshman Taylor Jameson added six points and tied her career-high six rebounds in the loss. She has recorded at least one field goal in 16 straight games for the Patriots.
 
* Jameson and graduate student Daijah Jefferson led the team in rebounding with six boards apiece. It marked the first time Jameson led the team in boards, and Jefferson's sixth time. Five different Patriots have led the team in scoring this season.
 
* In A-10 games only, Balzer ranks 20th in three-point field goals made per game with 1.6. She has made 16 three-pointers in conference play.
 
* Jefferson leads the team is rebounding with 7.0 boards per game – good for 10th in the A-10. She is also second on the team in scoring with 8.3 points per contest.
 
* The Patriots have three players ranking in the top-25 in rebounding in the A-10 – Jefferson (12th, 7.0), Doster (14th, 6.6) and Korpinen (23rd, 5.5).
 
* Korpinen ranks eighth in FT percentage (.754) in the Atlantic 10, converting 43-of-57 attempts. In league games only, she boasts a free throw percentage of .778 – good for sixth in the A-10. She leads the team in scoring (10.3) and assists per game (2.7).
 
* The Patriots are averaging 44.6 points in conference games and allowing 64.5 points. Mason is shooting 28.7 percent from the field and 25.5 percent from three-point range through the 10 games.
 
* The Patriots are first in the conference in offensive rebounds per game (14.4) and third in total rebounds per game (40.9). The Patriots have a league-best 695 total rebounds.
 
* Eight different Patriots have led the team in scoring this season - Korpinen (6), Jefferson (4), Balzer (2), Popovic (2), Wilson, Wakefield, Doster and Stam.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies have won three straight in the series to even the all-time record, 5-5. Mason is looking for its first win over St. Bonaventure since Feb. 27, 2018 when the Patriots defeated the Bonnies 89-79 in Fairfax.
 
SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE
St. Bonaventure improved to 3-8 in the Atlantic 10 and 4-10 overall with a season sweep of Davidson last weekend. The Bonnies defeated the Wildcats on Sunday (71-58) and Monday (71-63) to snap a four-game losing streak.
 
The Bonnies are led by Asianae Johnson who is averaging 14.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 47.4 percent from the floor. She was named A-10 Player of the Week on Monday after scoring a season-high 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting against Davidson on Sunday. She followed up the performance with a 20-point outing against the Wildcats the following night.
 
Redshirt junior Tori Harris adds 10.5 points and paces the squad with 6.3 rebounds per game. As a team, the Bonnies are averaging 59.1 points per game and allowing 64.4.
