FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team fell to St. Bonaventure, 2-1, in double-overtime in Atlantic 10 Conference play on Wednesday night at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va.

Mason (2-8-1, 0-3-0 A-10) took the lead over St. Bonaventure (2-6-1, 2-1-0 A-10) late in the first half.Â

In the 35th minute, sophomore midfielder
Louis Lehr scored his fourth goal of the season, getting behind defenders and sending a shot under the goalkeeper from six yards out to put the Patriots in front 1-0.Â

Jakob Rylander picked up his first assist of the season, while freshman midfielder
Luciano Covella registered his second assist of the year on the play.

The Bonnies scored the equalizer in the 67th minute when junior midfielder C.J. Takatch set up graduate student midfielder Frederik Hansen, who worked his way from the corner and netted his first goal of the season from 18 yards out to tie the match, 1-1.

In the second overtime, St. Bonaventure graduate student midfielder Francesco Caorsi scored his first game-winner of the season in the 104th minute of play, converting with a diving header into the center of the net from six yards out.

Jackson Lee (2-8-1, 0-3-0 A-10) made two saves, while St. Bonaventure junior goalkeeper Justyn Sandhu (1-3-1) made five saves to earn his first victory of the season.Â
