DAVIDSON, N.C. – The George Mason women's soccer team improves to 5-9-1 and 3-3-1 in the A-10 after earning a tie against Davidson (4-8-3, 0-5-2 A-10) by a score of 1-1 on Thursday night inside Alumni Soccer Stadium.
 
Mason held possession of the ball for the majority of the match. Davidson tallied one goal on seven total shots (four on goal). Mason tallied one goal on 13 total shots (six on goal). Senior Louisa Moser recorded three saves in the tie.
 
Freshman Brianna Bitz scores the equalizer of a deflection from the Davidson goalkeeper. This is Bitz's first career goal as a Patriot.
 
Senior Sara Chontosh and freshman Brianna Bitz (two on goal) each tallied three shots in the contest. Senior Emma Lee (two on goal) and junior Grace Hotaling each recorded two shots in the match. Sophomore Katie Saunders (on goal), and freshmen Hailey Martinez and Serena Spitz (on goal) all tallied one shot each in the contest.
