Miami, Fla –The Patriots completed the first two rounds today at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate at Ft. Lauderdale Country Club tied for tenth place with Florida Gulf Coast. The Patriots will play the final round Tuesday in the 54-hole tournament.
Freshman
Hayden Miller leads the Patriots with a two-round (75-71) 146. Miller began the day with a three-over-par 75 but responded with a one-under-par 71 in the afternoon.
Mason's J.P. Miller carded a one-under-par 71 in the opening round before scoring a 78 in the afternoon at the par 72, 7052-yard Fort Lauderdale Country Club's North Course.
Loyola University Maryland's Evan Brown used the strength of a 6-under par opening round to finish the first 36 holes in second place on Monday, shooting 9-under 135.
Lynn University leads the tournament with a two-round total of 21-under par. The Loyola Greyhounds are one shot up on Florida Atlantic University, two on 40
th-ranked South Florida University, Western Carolina University, and Davidson College.
