Current Capacity Limit at 250 Spectators for Mason Basketball at EagleBank Arena

Share:
Men's Basketball 11/20/2020 2:52:00 PM
The capacity at EagleBank Arena for the upcoming Patriots' basketball games is currently set at 250 spectators following the current COVID-19 safety guidance from the Commonwealth of Virginia. In the event that the State issues new guidance in the future, Mason Athletics will adjust accordingly.

A limited number of tickets will be made available to George Mason students and guests of student-athletes. Approximately 150 seats will be reserved for season ticket holders. Tickets will be sold on a single-game basis. The opportunity to purchase tickets will be based on Patriot Club priority points.

Women's basketball season ticket holders will receive further details early next week regarding tickets for the non-conference games, which begins with the home opener versus Navy on November 29.

Men's basketball season ticket holders will receive notice by Monday, November 30 with further details on ticket availability and their place in the Priority Points rank.

In the event that future state COVID-19 guidelines allow for an increase in attendance, we will announce at that time any updates to our ticketing plan. As we update our plans, our guiding principle will continue to be to support the health, safety, and well-being of the Mason community.

Face coverings that meet CDC guidelines will be required at all times in EagleBank Arena. The limited number of fans, including students, allow for proper social distance markers throughout the arena, assign seating in pods, and delegated entrances to minimize traffic upon entry.

Ticketing for the basketball games will be strictly digital. The transition exclusively to mobile ticketing adds convenience for season ticket holders, while also allowing for contact-less entry to EagleBank Arena.
