FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's basketball team begins a two-game road swing at La Salle on Wednesday.
Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Tom Gola Arena in Philadelphia. Wednesday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+.
PATRIOT POINTS
* Mason (7-13, 1-6 A-10) looks to snap a six-game losing streak on Saturday, when the Patriots face La Salle at 5 p.m. inside Tom Gola Arena. The Patriots aim for their first A-10 road win of the season.
* Junior Nicole Cardaño-Hillary posted 28 points, four rebounds and four assists in Mason's 82-63 loss to VCU on Saturday. She finished 11-of-12 from the charity stripe, including a 10-of-10 mark in the first half.
* The Patriots finished with a 28.4 percent (19-67) mark from the field, but held a +10 advantage on the glass (45-35) and was +16 in offensive boards (24-8). VCU shot 53.6 percent (30-56) from the floor and owned a +26 advantage in points in the paint (40-14).
* The Patriots finished with a 75.0 percent (18-24) mark from the free throw line vs. VCU – their third highest mark of the season.

Tamia Lawhorne is averaging 13.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in conference play. She's shooting 41.8 percent (23-55) from the floor and 45.0 percent (9-20) from three-point range. She scored a game-high 21 points at Duquesne with a career-high four three-pointers.
* With a team-high 22 points vs. Davidson, Cardaño-Hillary became just the sixth player in program history to surpass 1,500 points in their career.

Jacy Bolton became the 20th player in program history to score 1,000 points in their career after scoring eight points at SMU (Dec. 31).
* Cardaño-Hillary is second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (17.7 ppg) and is tied for second in steals per game (2.1).
* Gatling is fourth in the A-10 in field goal percentage (.517) and second on the team in points per game (9.4).
* Bolton is ninth in the A-10 with 6.6 rebounds per game, and is third on the team, averaging 8.9 points per game.
* Cardaño-Hillary began the season 14th all-time in Mason program history in scoring with 1,218 points. With a career-high 41 points at Penn State (Nov. 24), the junior guard cracked the top-10. She moved into fifth all-time with 28 points vs. VCU (1,571).
* The Patriots boast a 5-1 record when scoring 70+ points in a contest. In wins, they are averaging 70.6 points while allowing just 60.3 points a game. Conversely, in losses, they are averaging just 58.1 points while surrendering 70.6 a game.
* Cardaño-Hillary has scored in double figures in 17-of-20 games this season and posted 20+ points in seven games. She has scored 30+ points in her career five times – the fifth most in school history.
SERIES HISTORY
La Salle leads the all-time series, 6-5. The Patriots have won three of the last four meetings. Last season, the Patriots and Explorers split the season series. Mason defeated La Salle 59-42 on Feb. 14 in Fairfax, but fell to the Explorers 77-71 in its regular season finale on March 2 in Philadelphia.
SCOUTING LA SALLE
Sophomore Kayla Spruill dropped a game-high 24 points and freshman Claire Jacobs added 21 as La Salle (8-12, 2-5 A-10) defeated Saint Joseph's 67-59 on Sunday afternoon. Senior Shalina Miller, La Salle's all-time blocks leader, tied her career-high in rejections with six and posted 10 rebounds.
The Explorers' other conference win came against St. Bonaventure (67-61) on Jan. 19 in Philadelphia. La Salle is looking for its third straight home win.
La Salle was selected to finish 14th in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll.
