MEN'S and WOMEN'S SWIMMING and DIVING vs. American, Army and Old Dominion

FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's and women's swimming and diving teams are in action for the final meet of the regular season, facing American, Army and Old Dominion on Saturday at Crandall Pool in West Point, N.Y. The quad meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. with diving events.

Last time out, the Mason men's team fell to UMBC, 165-133, while the women's team dropped a 166-127 decision to the Retrievers on Saturday at the Jim McKay Natatorium.

Sophomore
Jacquee Clabeaux won both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.18) and 100-yard freestyle (52.24). She was also a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that placed second (1:46.93).

Mason freshman
Leah Riley took the top spot in the 200-yard IM (2:11.07) and placed third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.05). Sophomore
Hannah Milikich claimed the 100-yard backstroke (58.62) and finished second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.76).

Junior
Marina Toone won both the one-meter (270.90) and the three-meter (290.78) diving events against UMBC.

On the men's side, senior
Christopher Stankiewicz won the 100-yard breaststroke (57.26) and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:31.75).

Graduate student
Jake Ball claimed the top spot in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:08.51), while classmate
Gerald Hodges, Jr. won both the one-meter (303.23) and three-meter (296.55) diving events.

The four teams met in a quad meet last season at the Jim McKay Natatorium.Â

The Mason women's team defeated American (185-105) and Old Dominion (185-113), but fell to Army (184-111).

Megan Cummins won the 1,650-yard freestyle and finished second in the 500-yard freestyle.

The Mason men's team also went 2-1 on the day, with victories over American (246-50) and Old Dominion (192-108). The Patriots dropped a 176-119 decision to Army.

Drake Moretz won the 200-yard freestyle,
Ryan Donnelly claimed the 200-yard backstroke and
Colin Graves won the three-meter dive.

The Patriots will compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships Feb. 19-22 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
