FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's volleyball head coach Aylene Ilkson has announced the addition of Jordan Glass to her coaching staff on Thursday. Glass will serve as an assistant coach for the upcoming season.

"I am very excited to welcome Jordan back to Mason," said Ilkson. "I was given the privilege to coach Jordan during her senior season. Since then, I have watched her become an outstanding coach and mentor for young women."

Glass joins the Patriots from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she spent the last two years as a graduate assistant volleyball coach. At SIUE, she was in charge of working with all aspects of the program, from scouting and recruiting to team travel. She helped lead the Cougars to a fifth-place finish in the OVC in 2018-19.

"Jordan will bring a lot of energy and grit to the position," said Ilkson. "She is passionate about the game of volleyball and brings that into her coaching."

Glass was an outstanding member of the George Mason women's volleyball program from 2014-17. She graduated from Mason with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications.

In her career for the Green & Gold, Glass appeared in nearly 200 sets over 76 career matches. She averaged 1.64 kills, 1.16 digs and 2.00 points per set. Off the court she excelled in the classroom, earning a place on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll twice.

"The women in our program are going to benefit greatly from her experience and knowledge of volleyball."
