FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's basketball team looks to snap a four-game losing streak on Wednesday against Duquesne.
Tip-off between the Patriots and Dukes is scheduled for 7 p.m. at La Roche University's Kerr Fitness Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Wednesday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+.
PATRIOT POINTS
* The Patriots will aim for their first A-10 road win of the season.
* After earning a 70-60 win over GW in its conference opener, Mason has dropped four consecutive contests to Dayton (59-55), St. Bonaventure (62-47), Davidson (76-69) and Fordham (66-54). Those four teams currently boast a combined A-10 record of 14-5.
* On Sunday, Mason finished with a 31.5 percent (17-54) mark from the field. Fordham shot 41.8 percent (23-55) and made 11 three-point field goals (.423). Mason moved to 2-7 when its opponents make 7-or-more three-pointers.
* Junior Nicole Cardaño-Hillary led Mason with 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. She scored 14 of her 16 points in the second half, going 8-of-9 from the charity stripe.

Camarie Gatling added 12 of her 13 points in the second half, shooting 6-of-9 from the field in the stanza.

* With a team-high 22 points vs. Davidson, Cardaño-Hillary became just the sixth player in program history to surpass 1,500 points in their career.

Jacy Bolton became the 20th player in program history to score 1,000 points in their career after scoring eight points at SMU (Dec. 31).
* Cardaño-Hillary is second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (17.4 ppg) and is tied for first in steals per game (2.1).
* Gatling is fourth in the A-10 in field goal percentage (.522) and second on the team in points per game (9.9).
* Bolton is ninth in the A-10 with 6.6 rebounds per game, and is third on the team, averaging 9.2 points per game.
* The Patriots boast a 5-1 record when scoring 70+ points in a contest. In wins, they are averaging 70.6 points while allowing just 60.3 points a game. Conversely, in losses, they are averaging just 57.2 points while surrendering 68.4 a game.
* In conference games this season, the Patriots are +12 in scoring in the second half (177-165) and +5 on the glass (176-171). In the first half, Mason is -40 in scoring (158-118).
* Bolton surpassed 600 career rebounds with six boards against Bradley (Nov. 29). She now sits eighth all-time with 668 rebounds.
* Cardaño-Hillary began the season 14th in program history in scoring with 1,218 points. With a career-high 41 points at Penn State (Nov. 24), the junior guard cracked the top-10. She is 34 points shy of a fifth-place tie with Nickie Hilton (1990-94) with 1,565 points.
SERIES HISTORY
The Patriots are looking for their first win over Duquesne since 1999. The Dukes have won seven straight in the series for a 8-2 all-time lead. They've won all seven meetings since the Patriots joined Atlantic 10 play in 2013-14. Duquesne defeated Mason 60-57 last season in Fairfax on Jan. 13, 2019.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE
Trailing 41-39 entering the fourth quarter, Duquesne outscored Saint Joseph's 19-10 in the final period to earn a 58-51 victory over the Hawks at Hagan Arena on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Dukes moved to 2-3 in conference play and 12-6 overall.
After starting the season 0-2, the Dukes won 10 straight games to finish non-conference play with a record of 10-3. Duquesne is led by junior Libby Bazelak. She ranks first in the A-10 and fourth in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage (47.4 percent), fifth in the A-10 in 3-point field goals made (37) and fourth in assists per game (4.1).
Duquesne was picked to finish ninth in the preseason coaches' poll, earning 98 points. Duquesne graduated its top-three scorers in Chassidy Omogrosso, Kadri-Ann Lass and Julijana Vojinovic.
