Fairfax, Va.— The George Mason wrestling team will host six of its next seven duals at home in the Recreation Athletic Complex on campus.
The Patriots (7-3, 2-2 MAC) will wrestle Mid-American Conference Lock Haven Bald Eagles (5-2, 1-1 MAC), Saturday, Jan. 18 at Noon. Lock Haven defeated Mason, 28-10, the last time the two teams met, Nov. 30, 2018.
The Bald Eagles wrestling team will take on Mason in the final match of its three-match road swing. The Bald Eagles will open the three-match southern road swing at Appalachian State on Thursday (Jan. 16) at 6:30 p.m., then travel north to Old Dominion for a match on Friday before heading to Fairfax.
The match will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+.

*The NCAA updated (Jan. 14) standings for the 2020 NCAA Wrestling Awards that will be awarded in March.
Colston DiBlasi stands in third place with nine falls at 149 pounds. Cornell's Ben Darmstadt leads with 11 this season.

Six Bald Eagles appear in the national rankings, including #15 Luke Werner (125); #29 DJ Fehlman (133); #19 Kyle Shoop (141); #30 Alex Klucker (157); #31 Jared Siegrist (174); and #33 Corey Hazel (184).
*Lock Haven received votes (six points) in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Top-25 (Jan. 14). The Bald Eagles are ranked in the Top 5 in MAC Coaches Wrestling Rankings.

Alex Madrigal earned a fifth-place finish at The Southern Scuffle at 141 pounds. In wrestlebacks, Madrigal earned a major decision over Cleveland State's Evan Cheek, 8-0, before dropping a close, 3-0 decision to Lock Haven's Kyle Shoop.
*DiBlasi earned a third-place finish at The Southern Scuffle at 149 pounds. He also won the Gorarrian Award, presented to the wrestler with the most pins in the shortest amount of time. In seven matches, DiBlasi had four pins in 15:59.
