FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's volleyball freshman Stephanie Der has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. 

The Chantilly, Va., native posted 42 total digs and 14 total assists at the Retriever Challenge hosted by UMBC last weekend. The starting libero averaged 3.50 digs per set to earn a spot on the Retriever Challenge All-Tournament Team. She saw a personal-best 21 digs in Mason's five-set win over UMBC (Sept. 6).

She also tabbed a season-best five service aces against Delaware, adding 13 digs on defense and notched the match-clinching ace, along with eight digs, in Mason's four-set win over Saint Francis (Pa.).

The Patriots return home for a midweek matchup against Navy on Tuesday night at the RAC in Fairfax, Va. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
