FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team (2-6-1, 0-2 A-10) battles Atlantic 10 foe VCU (6-3-1, 0-2 A-10) on Sunday at George Mason Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
The last time these two programs met, the Patriots fell to the Rams by a score of 3-1 in Richmond, Va. on Sept. 23, 2018. Mason holds an all-time record of 14-8-6 over VCU, as the two programs have scored eight goals against one another over the last five meetings.
 
Both teams are looking to avoid an 0-3 conference record to start the season.
 
In their last game action, the Patriots fell to UMass by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. Junior forward Jisca Adigo was a bright spot for Mason, as the Washington D.C. native earned her first career multi-goal performance.
 
On the other bench, the Rams recently fell to A-10 opponent Saint Louis by a score of 4-0 on Thursday in Richmond, Va. (Sports Backers Stadium). The Billikens scored four goals in the first half and earned a shutout, only the second time this season VCU went scoreless in a contest.
 
The Rams currently lead the A-10 in goals for (22), shots (202) and corner kicks (67).
