PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The George Mason men's soccer team fell on the road, 2-0, against Drexel on Tuesday night at Vidas Field in Philadelphia, Pa.   Â
The Dragons (2-3-1) struck first against the Patriots (1-5-0) in the 30th minute when junior forward Laolu Daranijo scored from 10 yards out to put the Dragons in front 1-0.  Drexel sophomore forward Chris Donovan picked up the assist. Â
Donovan, the Dragons leading scorer, increased the lead early in the second half, scoring his fourth goal of the season with a header from eight yards in the 55th minute to make it a 2-0 game. Daranijo assisted on the goal.

Andreas Varlas Tsaousis made his first career start and made two saves, while Drexel junior goalkeeper Cameron Sanders made four saves in the match.Â

30' | Daranijo netted his first goal of the season with a low shot from the left side from 10 yards out.
55' | After a cross from the 18, Donovan bounced a header into the upper portion of the net from eight yards out.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
The Patriots outshot the Dragons 16-8 and both clubs finished the match with four shots on goal. Mason had four corner kicks, while Drexel had three corner kicks in the game.
